Mimaki to give European debut to TS34-1800A sublimation printer at Fespa 2012

Mimaki will give a European debut to its new dye sublimation printer, the TS34-1800A, when it exhibits at Fespa 2012 later this month.
The wide-format manufacturer will showcase the 1.8m machine, which it is pitching at companies producing sportswear garments and soft signage products, at the 21-24 February event.
Mimaki's TS34-1800A can print onto a variety of materials up to 32sqm an hour at resolutions of 540x720dpi.
Distributed by Hybrid Services in the UK and Ireland, the machine can also print in six-colour operation at reduced speeds of 17.7sqm an hour at the same resolution.
In addition to the dye sublimation printer, Mimaki will be showcasing its UJF-3042FX desktop UV flatbed, which can print directly on materials up to 50mm thick.
It can output at a resolution up to 1440x1200 dpi on a maximum print area of 300x420mm.
Mimaki will also use Fespa 2012 to exhibit its UV-cured JFX-1631plus flatbed, which can print up to 1,200dpi at speeds up 23.6sqm an hour.
According to Mimaki marketing manager Mike Horsten, the company's stand will include both new products and new features.
"We are proud of the small environmental footprint of our products, an important factor in the sign and display business today. Mimaki will be launching many new innovations at Fespa and we will clearly demonstrate our leadership in the market," he added.
