Fujifilm's PRO-T3 microsite aims to 'de-mystify the facts about processless plates'

Fujifilm Europe launches microsite to promote processless plates

Fujifilm Europe has launched a microsite to promote its new Brillia HD PRO-T3 as it begins the rollout phase for the third generation processless plate.

The multilingual website highlights five key benefits of working with processless plates and features a detailed animation that helps to explain the science behind how the plates work.

There is also a downloadable guide on how a commercial printer can improve the environmental performance of its business, part of series of Better Business Guides produced by Fujfilm.

Fujifilm European marketing communications manager Graham Leeson said: "We have introduced this microsite to de-mystify the facts about processless plates and highlight the impact they can have on a printer’s business."

The Brilla HD PRO-T3, which was officially launched in October, is a processless plate that eliminates the processor, chemistry, gum and water used in the plate production process, as the plate is taken straight from the platesetter onto the press.

Sean Lane, Fuji product manager for offset Solutions, said: "Its main selling point is the massive gain you get from removing the processor from the pre-press environment, which saves money, reduces the impact on the environment and saves time.

"The product has been available on a controlled sales basis to existing customers for the past six months and is now in a rollout phase."
