Perfect Digital inaugurates Mumbai's first Ricoh C901s, enters Ricoh's Pro Partnership Programme

The Pro C901s was installed in the last week of September, 2011. Perfect Digital also became part of Ricoh’s Pro Partnership Programme (PPP).

The 25-year old firm has replaced the Canon ImagePress C7000 with the Ricoh C901s, moving the ImagePress to its other unit in Andheri East.

"The press has enabled us to print more," said Mukesh Rita, the managing director at Perfect Digital. In the two month since its installation, Perfect has clocked 1.86-lakh copies. "Earlier we used to print 50,000 copies per month, now we print 80,000."

Giving reason for the increase in production capacity, Rita, said: "It is the speed of the machine which has enabled us to increase our print run and the five-micron toner has greatly improved our print quality. As a result, the customers who previously would print limited quantity now return to print more."

The family-run business is managed by Rita and his four brothers, Pravin, Ramesh, Dilip and Navin.

So, what does the PPP offer to printers like Perfect? Avijit Mukherjee, CEO at Ricoh India’s production printing business group, said: "We create value proposition through this programme. We help our customers to gain a competitive edge by planning business strategy. We do market surveys, suggest ways to put plans into action which can drive volumes into their businesses and become profitable."

Perfect Digital is the second players in Ricoh’s PPP. Thane’s Sagar Stationery and Xerox is the first to join Ricoh PPP.
